CNHS YES-O started their step for change last 21st of July with the officers of the different curriculum and teachers to join the massive planting of trees at Nasagud-Lanot, Roxas City.
Nearly 100 plant of trees were planted at Nasagud, Lanot together with the Over-All officers of the CNHS YES-O and each curriculum: Laboratory Detectives Club, Over-all YES-O (SSTC), Young Explorers Club, Young Biologist Club, Fact Finders Club and Phase Changers Club, including their advisers under the leadership of Mrs. Judy B. Dunton, OIC, Science and Technology Department.
“Since most tress are now devastated, we must restore nature’s original state and also to encourage people to plant more trees”, said by Dale Ocampo, Over-all President of the Capiz NHS YES-O.
The purpose of the said tree planting activity was to minimize the adverse effects of climate change and global warming. This is also a way of supporting the program of the government, the National Greening Program (NGP).
